MRS. ANDERSON SUCCUMBS AT HOME TODAY

Mrs. Emma ANDERSON, 84, lifetime resident of Fairfield, passed away early this morning at her home, 602 West Adams street, around 5:20 o'clock.

The body has been taken to the Weston Behner Funeral Home where funeral arrangements are pending.

Mrs. ANDERSON was the daughter of the late Gustaf and Christina ANDERSON. She was born January 4, 1858 in Jefferson county.

She was united in marriage to Gustaf Peter ANDERSON on February 6, 1879, and was preceded in death by her husband who passed away January 11, 1941.

She was a faithful member of the Lutheran church.

Mrs. ANDERSON is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Edith M. GIRE of Fairfield, and four sons, Dale F. ANDERSON of Fairfield, Clarence W. ANDERSON of Burlington, Ralph W. ANDERSON of Rainier, Oregon, and Carl F. ANDERSON of San Antonio, Texas.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren.

ANDERSON Funeral Wednesday Afternoon

Funeral services for Mrs. Emma C. ANDERSON, 84, lifetime resident of Jefferson county who passed away Monday, will be held at the Lutheran church in Fairfield at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Dr. E. A. Piper will officiate, with burial in Evergreen cemetery.
