Mrs. ALVINE, 52, Dies In Arizona

Mrs. LeRoy ALVINE, native of Fairfield, died Thursday about 11:56 p.m. at the community hospital in Phoenix, Ariz., where she had been a patient the past three and a half weeks.

The body will arrive in Fairfield and will be taken to the Weston Behner funeral home Tuesday afternoon. Friends may call in the evening and up to the time of the services.

Graveside services will be held Wednsday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. James W. Dendler officiating.

The former Helen Ruth JONES, 52, was born March 5, 1913, in Fairfield, the daughter of Ruth SIMPSON JONES and the late Harry JONES. She was reared and educated in this community and graduated from the Fairfield high school.

In November, 1938, she was married to LeRoy ALVINE at Las Vegas, Nev. They later moved to Phoenix, Ariz., where she had made her home for the past 15 years.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Harry ALVINE, Coolidge, Ariz.; her mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Charles ROSS, Fairfield; two sisters, Mrs. LaVerne HARLAN, Mt. Pleasant; and Mrs. Nona NAVA, El Paso, Texas.
