Rites Pending For Mrs. ALLEN

Mrs. Maude ALLEN, longtime resident of Jefferson County, died Tuesday at the Nelson Nursing Home. Her death came at 4:10 p.m.

The family home was five miles south of Fairfield on Highway 1 for many years. Her husband, Roy D. ALLEN, preceded her in death Aug. 11, 1963.

The body is at the Weston Behner Funeral Home where last rites are pending.

Funeral Friday

Funeral services for Mrs. Maude ALLEN will be held on Friday at 1 p.m., at the Weston Behner Funeral Home. The Rev. John R. Dilley will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. ALLEN died Tuesday at the Nelson Nursing Home. Mrs. ALLEN was married to Roy D. ALLEN on March 20, 1907. He died Aug. 11, 1963.

NOTICE OF PROBATE OF WILL, OF APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTOR, AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS
In The District Court Of The State of Iowa In And For Jefferson County
In The Matter of The Estate Of Duff Maude ALLEN, Deceased.

To All Persons Interested In The Estate Of Duff Maude ALLEN Deceased:

You are hereby notified that on the 7th day of January, 1971, the Last Will and Testament of Duff Maude ALLEN deceased bearing date of the 5th day of January, 1967, was admitted to probate in the above named Court and that Roy Simpson was appointed executor of said estate.

Notice is further given that any action to set aside said Will must be brought in the District Court of said County within one year from the date of the second publication of this notice, or thereafter be forever barred.

Notice is further given that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned, and creditors having claims against said estate shall file them with the Clerk of the above named District court, as provided by law, duly authenticated, for allowance; and unless so filed within six months from the second publication of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claim shall thereafter be forever barred.
