MRS. ADKISSON DIES SUNDAY

Mrs. Thomas N. (sic - Thomas M.) ADKISSON, 79, a well known resident of the Libertyville community for several years, passed away Sunday at 6:30 a.m. Her death came at the McCleary nursing home in Fairfield where she had been a patient for the past 18 months.

Last rites will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Hoskins funeral home with Rev. L. M. Kirby in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Katie Lillian ADKISSON was born October 5, 1869, at Littleton, Illinois, the daughter of the late David and Rose Ann ASHER WHEAT. She came to Iowa 41 years ago and setled (sic) in the Libertyville community.

She was united in marriage September 20, 1893, to Thomas N. ADKISSON who passed away January 15, 1933.

Mrs. ADKISSON is survived by three children: Kenneth F., Libertyville; Mrs. R. O. LINDER, Mason City; and Joseph N. of Council Bluffs. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Ward and Richard LINDER and Margaret Jane ADKISSON; one brother and two sisters One sister and three brothers preceded her in death.

CALLED HERE BY DEATH OF MRS. KATE ADKISSON

Mr. and Mrs. Joe ADKISSON of Council Bluffs have arrived, called here by the death of his mother, Mrs. Kate ADKISSON who passed away yesterday at the McCleary nursing home. A grandson, Ward LINDER of Mason City and his fiancee, Doloris MELBY of Alexandria, Minn., have also arrived.

Contact is being made with Ward's parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. C. LINDER of Mason City, traveling in the south, to notify Mrs. LINDER of the death of her mother. Mrs. LINDER is the former Feryl ADKISSON.

RETURN HOME AFTER ATTENDING FUNERAL

LIBERTYVILLE, Ia., June 16--Mr. and Mrs. Joe ADKISSON and their niece, Marlene FRY of Council Bluffs, returned to their home yesterday after attending the funeral of Mr. ADKISSON's mother Tuesday afternoon.
