Death from Scalding.

The home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter ADAMS, about five miles west of town, was made sad last Tuesday by the death of their baby boy, Thomas. About two weeks ago while Mrs. ADAMS was washing, the little child went to the tub and pulled out a cork, which let the boiling water out upon him, scalding him severely. The result was thought not to be fatal, but Tuesday morning at eight o'clock the child died. The funeral was held at the Episcopal church this morning. Deceased was eighteen months old.
