DEATHS

GEORGE ACHESON

Word was received by Mrs. R. J. WILSON of the passing away of her cousin George ACHESON in a hospital at Berkeley California. Funeral services were held in Berkeley on Monday April 27th. The body was cremated and the ashes will be sent to Fairfield to be placed in the ACHESON Lot in Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. ACHESON was the son of the late George and Mary ACHESON, early pioneers of Fairfield and was born in this city. His father was a partner of the law firm Flagle and Acheson (sic - Slagle and Acheson). The only surviving member of the ACHESON family is one sister Mrs. D. F. GARRETTSON of San Diego, California.
