TOWN AND COUNTY.

… The death of Mrs. Daniel MURPHY of Cedar township was announced Monday night. She was about fifty years of age (sic - 33 years), and had been ill with measles.

A Sudden Death.

Mrs. Daniel MURPHY died very suddenly at her home six miles southeast of town last Monday evening. She had been sick for the past two weeks with measles, and Monday evening she was setting (sic) up in bed eating her supper, her condition not being considered dangerous, when she quietly passed away without any warning whatever.

The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock. Deceased leaves a husband and five children. The remains were interred in the Wright cemetery.
