Mrs. MARTIN Dies Suddenly

Mrs. Glenn A. MARTIN, 47, Glasgow, died suddenly Sunday at 10:30 a.m. a few minutes after she was dismissed from the Jefferson County hospital.

Mrs. MARTIN had been a patient at the hospital for nine days. She was walking to the family car with her husband when she was stricken and died.

Services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. CDT at the Weston Behner Funeral home. The Rev. J. Roland Crandall will officiate. Burial will be in Wright cemetery.

Mrs. MARTIN had been a resident of the Glasgow area for 30 years. The family farm is one and a half miles south of Glasgow.

The former Velma Marie STODGELL, Mrs. MARTIN was born Sept. 5, 1913, at Morning Sun, the daughter of Emery and Gertrude STODGELL. She was married to Glenn A. MARTIN Dec. 28, 1934. She was a member of the Glasgow Methodist church.

Surviving are her husband and the following children: Delores MARTIN, Fairfield; Gerald, John, Patricia, Shirley, Mary, Barbara and Robert, all at home.

Also surviving are her father, Emery STODGELL, Toolesboro; and the following sisters and brother: Mrs. Vera QUAYLE and Mrs. Bernice WYDRA, both of Coleraine, Minn.; Mrs. Daisy MEYERS, Detroit Lakes, Minn.; and Johnny STODGELL, Mankato, Minn. Her mother and one son are deceased.
