HECKETHORN--William Norris HECKETHORN, 80, machinist, of 1488 Cota Ave., died Nov. 10 in a local hospital. He was born in Fairfield, Iowa, and came to Long Beach 13 years ago. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Gladys GALLUP of Long Beach, Mrs. Nellie TAYLOR of Streator, Ill., Mrs. Edith McAvoy and Mrs. Grace RIESTING of Marietta; son, Rollie HECKETHORN of Long Beach; stepsons, Lewis GALLUP of Long Beach, Floyd and Eugene GALLUP both of Ottumwa, Iowa, and William, Ralph and John GALLUP of Streator; sisters, Mrs. Ollie SHONDEL of Centerville, Iowa, Mrs. Lulu PARDIE and MRs. Zenith PEARSON of Springfield, Ill.; brother, Henry HECKETHORN of Fairfield, Iowa, and grandchildren, James HECKETHORN, Mrs. Beulah WALKINSHAW, Barbara HECKETHORN and Donald GALLUP, all of Long Beach, and Robert HECKETHORN of Washington, D. C.
