B. F. DEWITT DEAD

B. F. DeWITT, one of the older residents of Jefferson county, passed away yesterday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. C. CRENSHAW who resides twelve miles southeast of the city.

Mr. DeWITT, who was past eighty years of age, has been in poor health for several years and his death was not unexpected. He is survived by the following children: Homer DeWITT, of Mt. Pleasant; Frank DeWITT, of Stockport; Hoseas DeWITT, of Des Moines, and Mrs. W. C. CRENSHAW, at whose home he died.
