… Rankin WINSELL, who lives southwest of Libertyville, celebrated his 76th birthday Sunday, June 6, in the home of his daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Russell WILKERSON. A cooperative picnic dinner was attended by 70 of his relatives and friends. His daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. George H. SPILMAN and son, Raymond, of DeRidder, La., whom he hasn't seen for several years, were also present. …

C. R. WINSELL Dies Suddenly At Home Near Libertyville

LIBERTYVILLE, Ia., Aug. 6 -- C. R. WINSELL, life-long resident of the Libertyville area, passed away suddenly yesterday noon at his home six miles southwest of here. He was 76 years of age.

Mr. WINSELL underwent major surgery at an Ottumwa hospital and had only recently returned to his home.

He is survived by his wife, Bertha, and two daughters, Mrs. Ruth SIPLLMAN who resides in Louisiana, and Mrs. Thelma WILKERSON of near Selma. Other survivors include a brother, Dr. Frank WINSELL of Pasadena, Calif., and seven grandchildren.

Mr. WINSELL was a member of the I.O.O.F. and Rebekah lodges. He was a member and active worker in the Mt. Zion church and taught a Sunday school class for many years. Mr. and Mrs. WINSELL observed their golden wedding anniversary two years ago.

The body is at the Pedrick Funeral home where funeral arrangements are pending.
