NICHOLAS STUMP DIED LAST EVENING AT 7:15

Nicholas STUMP of Eldon died last night at 7:15 o'clock at the Jefferson County hospital where he has been a patient since last October. He was born June 13, 1840 (sic - 1839) in Selma, Iowa where he spent the greater part of his life. His wife Angenetta (sic - Anna Janette) died 25 years ago (note: in 1896). To this union were born 11 children, three of whom are still living. N. A. STUMP of Eldon, Ray of Selma and Edward of Los Angeles. He is also survived by one sister in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held some time tomorrow afternoon from the Methodist church.
