… John Thomas son of David and Diborah LAUGHLIN was born in Des Moines Township Jefferson Co. Iowa Feb. 28, 1846.

He spent his entire life on the farm with his parents until the death of his father. Remaining with his mother until her death after which in 1907 he went to Panhandle Texas where he has since resided. During last fall he had typhoid fever from which he never recovered, finally resulting in his death Feb. 23 1920, Aged 73 years; 11 months and 25 days.

He leaves two brothers and two sisters: Alexander C. of Stanberry Mo., Mrs. Sarah E. BEALE Mrs. W. D. WILSON of Libertyville and Hugh M. of Douds-Leando and a large nudber (sic) of nephews and nieces.

Funeral was held from the W. D. WILSON home Friday P. M. at 2:30 conducted by Rev. Stephens. Interment was made in Winsell cemetery. …
