DIED.

FISHER.--January 25th, 1876, George FISHER, in the 65th year of his age.

Mr. FISHER was born in Washington county, Penn., in 1811, and moved with his parents to Indiana when he was 13 years of age. He was married when 27 years old to Miss Mary J. CLARK (sic - CLOKE). He moved to Illinois in 1837, and to Iowa in 1839. He settled in Des Moines township, Jefferson county, Iowa, and resided there until his death. He united with the Baptist Church in 1851, and remained a faithful member of it. He leaves a family of six children to mourn his loss.

Note: Interment was in Winsell Cemetery. Wife Mary died in 1852, and George married Elizabeth PARNELL in 1854. Both wives are also buried in Winsell Cemetery.
