ROBERT "BOB" LEE VOGT
Richland

Robert "Bob" Lee VOGT, 67, of Richland, passed away Monday, Jan. 27, 2020, at Jefferson County Health Center. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29, at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Cary officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in Friends Cemetery, Richland (note: in Keokuk Co., IA).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children Hospital. Cards and memorials may be mailed to Becky VOGT, 1050 Mahogany Ave., Richland, IA 52585.

Bob was born June 7, 1952, in Fairfield, Iowa, to Raymond and Martha (LANKFORD) VOGT. He married Rebecca HOTLE on Aug. 6, 1972, in Lancaster, Mo.

Bob worked for 26 years at Dexter Foundry and 20 years for Dickey Transport. Some of Bob's interests were trains, fishing, mushroom hunting, playing cards and watching westerns the History Channel and the Three Stooges. He enjoyed rebuilding his '57 Chevy with his grandson, Kameron, and spending time with his family. Bob stockcar raced and was car No. 38.

Bob t will (sic) be missed by his wife, Becky of Richland; two children, Tiffany GEARHEART and Fabian VOGT; three grandchildren, Kameron, Kollin and Delaney GEARHEART; his siblings, Donna STEVENS, Midge GREINER, Fern POOL and Jim VOGT, all of Fairfield, and Julie GIBSON of Oklahoma City; and many nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Martha; and one brother, Richard.
