Editors Ledger :-- William F. COPELAND died at his home in Des Moines township October 8th, 1893, aged 52 years, 2 months and 10 days. Deceased was born in Indiana on the 28th of July, 1841. He came to Iowa with his parents in 1845, settling in Jefferson county, where he made his home until his death. He was married to Miss Mary J. SMITH, March 28th, 1863. To them were born five children, all of whom, with their mother, remain to mourn their loss. The funeral took place October 9th, Rev. Geo. W. Barber of Eldon conducting the services.

Died, at his residence in Des Moines township, Jefferson Co., Iowa, Oct. 8, 1893, William F. COPELAND, aged 52 years, 2 months and 10 days. Deceased was born in Indiana on the 28th of July, 1841. Came to Iowa with his parents in 1845, settling in Jefferson Co., where he made his home until his death. He was married to Mary Jane SMITH, March 28, 1863. To them were born five children, two sons and three daughters, all of whom, with their mother, remain to mourn their loss. Mr. COPELAND was an affectionate husband, loving father, and kind neighbor. The funeral took place Oct. 9, 1893, Rev. Barber, of Eldon, conducting the service, assisted by Rev. Thornley.
