TOWN AND COUNTY.

… There was a death at the County farm early Tuesday morning, that of Samuel K. BLACK, formerly of Des Moines township. He was in the eighty-fifth year of his age and had been in this institution since March 17th, 1906. Friends took charge of the body.

Note: Samuel appears to have died on the 24th from the first obituary, but the date on his gravestone is Nov. 22nd. He was married to Eliza HARRIS who died in 1885; they are buried in Winsell Cemetery.
