… Mrs. Mary MACY, who was perhaps the oldest resident in the vicinity where she lived, died at her home in Pleasant Plain on the evening of April 28th (sic - 22nd).

Note: Mary's maiden name was CHARLES, the daughter of John and Elvira CHARLES, born August 22, 1819, and died April 22, 1896. Interment was in Walnut Creek Friends Cemetery. She was the wife of Stephen MACY who died in 1888.
