… Wm. LEE, an aged man whose home was formerly in Penn township, died at the county farm the 9th inst. He was about eighty years of age and deaf and dumb. His aged wife survives him and will be taken care of by friends in Penn township. …

Note: Wife was Mary TALBERT, who herself was deaf and dumb since childhood. She passed away about three months after William. Both are buried in Walnut Creek Friends Cemetery, without headstones.
