FRAKES FUNERAL TOMORROW MORNING

The funeral of Mrs. Amanda FRAKES who passed away yesterday in Mt. Pleasant will be held at eleven o'clock tomorrow morning at Walnut church, and will be conducted by Rev. George Deshler. Interment will be in the Walnut cemetery.

Mrs. FRAKES was born in Ohio in 1842 (sic - 1843). She made her home in Penn township for a number of years. She was a sister of Ed. SIMPSON of this city.

MRS. ABRAM FRAKES DIED LAST FRIDAY

Mrs. Abram FRAKES passed away last Friday, death resulting from a complication of diseases.

Funeral services were held from the Walnut church Sabbath conducted by Rev. Georgo (sic) Deshler. Interment was made in Walnut cemetery near by.

Amanda V. SIMPSON was born in Fairisburg, Union county, O., August 20th, 1843, and came to Iowa when a child.

She was married to Abram FRAKES, October 11, 1865. To this union eight children were born, three of them preceding her to the great beyond.

Besides her aged husband she leaves five children, brothers and sisters to mourn her death.

She was a devoted wife and mother and had been a great sufferer for many years with a complication of diseases which resulted in her death, May 1st.

Her belief was in the Friends church and her faith in God, the maker and giver of all peace.
