The P. P. "News" notes the death of Daniel VANCE, of Salina, an old resident of this county, after an illness of some time. Mr. VANCE was about seventy-two years of age, and was a native of Virginia. He leaves a wife and four children.

Note: Daniel was married twice, first in 1832 to Hannah EADS, second in 1875 to Elizabeth MEEK KNIGHT. Hannah's death date uncertain and burial place unknown. Elizabeth is in Evergreen Cemetery under the KNIGHT name.
