Printers are liable to make mistakes the same as other people. We are sorry that a mistake occurred in yesterday's issue, in the obituary of Mrs Jasper LYNN. In quoting the bible (sic) reference, a few words omitted made the passage read wrong. It should have read "It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting; for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay it to his heart."

Obituary.

Caroline Louisa ANGSTEAD, daughter of John and Aurelia C. ANGSTEAD, was born in the state of New Jersey, Nov. 26th, 1848. Moved with her parents to Iowa in 1850. Was married to Japser LYNN Nov. 14, 1867. To this union were born five children, John F., Agnes E NEAL, who died in Sept.. 1899, Harry W., Della M. MESSER and Myrtha M. She leaves to mourn their loss a loving husband, two sons, two daughters, three little grandchildren, six brothers, three sisters and a host of loving friends.

We can truly say of her she was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Always forgetful of herself that others might have comfort and pleasure. No sacrafice (sic) was too great for her to make if it gave comfort to those around her. Often she would say: "I am never so happy as when my children are all at home," and at those home gatherings would have them sing to her the song she loved so well, "I have Anchored my Soul in the Haven of Rest."

She was taken sick with pneumonia Dec. 24th and lingered but a few short days, passing away Dec. 29th, 1905 and was laid to rest in the Richwood cemetery on New Year day, 1906.

There has gone from the home and community one whom no one met but to love, and to know her intimately was only to love her more. The home is very lonely now since we behold no more the face of our dear mother. A voice we loved is hushed in death; but in that great beyond, which we call Paradise, we can almost see her angel form and hear that voice say to us: "I would not come back to you but I shall ever watch until all my family are at Home again in a long and happy reunion eternal."

The funeral service was conducted at the home by Rev. W. Luther Bright, of Fairfield, Iowa. He used for his text Eccles. 7-2, which was very appropriate for a New Year day which held so much of sorrow for the bereaved family and friends.

"I have anchored my soul in the haven of rest,
I'll sail the wild seas no more,
The tempest may sweep o'er the wild stormy deep,
In Jesus I'm safe ever more."
