DEATH CLAIMS E. C. HENDRICKS

Edwin C. HENDRICKS, retired farmer who lived nine miles northeast of Fairfield, died this morning at Jefferson county hospital. He had suffered a heart attack last November and had been in serious condition for the past three days.

He passed away shortly after arrival at the hospital.

With the exception of one year, HENDRICKS lived his entire life on the Jefferson county farm where he was born July 31, 1869. He was the son of William and Anna ALLENDER HENDRICKS.

HENDRICKS married Mary R. LYNN at Richwoods, November 14, 1894. He was a member of the Bethesda Methodist church.

Survivors include his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Edith SCHILLERSTROM and four grandchildren, all of Fairfield. One son, Merle, preceded him in death. Other survivors are one brother, Floyd HENDRICKS, Mt. Pleasant, and two sisters, Mrs. Olive BLOUGH, Fairfield, and Mrs. Mabel HARVEY, Missoula, Mont.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Hoskins Funeral home in charge of the Rev. William Smith and the Rev. John Porath. Burial will be in Richwoods cemetery.

--Dr. and Mrs. R. W. HENDRICKS and daughter, Janny and Mrs. Mary HENDRICKS STENGER of Cincinnati, Ohio, visited in the Jack BLOUGH home and with their aunt, Mrs. Olive BLOUGH. They came to attend the funeral of their uncle, Ed HENDRICKS.
