OBITUARY.

Editors Ledger:--The funeral services of little Lloyd DIERS, son of Bernard and Elizabeth DIERS, residing in Richwoods, eight miles northeast of Fairfield, was held in the M. E. church near their home, Monday at 2 o'clock p.m. It was conducted by Rev. W. J. Funkey, pastor of the Lutheran church of this city, assisted by Rev. J. W. Taylor of the M. E. church of Salina. A quartet of the Lutheran choir sang three very appropriate pieces. The weather was exceedingly unfavorable, but the circle of relatives and friends in attendance was large. The floral tributes were quite numerous and very beautiful. Mr. and Mrs. DIERS have the sympathy of all in their sad bereavement -- the death of their only child. Lloyd was 1 year, 10 months and 8 days old. The cause of death was pneumonia.
