LOCAL MISCELLANY.

… The death of Knox E. ALLENDER was sudden. He was working in the field Monday, took sick Tuesday morning and died Wednesday morning, Nov. 21, 1888. His disease was diabetis. Mr. ALLENDER was born in this county, his father being Samuel ALLENDER. He was 32 years of age and resided in Buchanan township. About five years ago he married Miss Maggie GORDON, and one child, a boy, was the result of the union. They have the sympathy of the community in their bereavement.
