Page 8, Column 3DIES AT HOME OF DAUGHTER
Mrs. William ALLENDER, 81, long-time resident of Fairfield and Jefferson county, passed away this morning at 10:40 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. D. O'MEARA, 502 E. Washington street. Her death followed an illness of four months.
Last rites will be next Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Hoskins funeral home in charge of Dr. L. H. Scheerer. Burial will be in the Richwoods cemetery northeast of Fairfield.
Ida May ALLENDER was born May 1, 1865, at New Cumberland, Ohio, the daughter of the late Peter and Mary Catherine LARIMORE. She was united in marriage February 19, 1890, to William ALLENDER at Benkelman, Nebraska.
After their marriage, the couple moved to Jefferson county where they lived the rest of their lives. Mr. ALLENDER preceded his wife in death on July 19, 1938. Since that time Mrs. ALLENDER had made her home with her three daughters. She was a member of the Methodist church.
She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Carl BATES, Fairfield; Mrs. Roy LAWRENCE, Spencer, and Mrs. O'MEARA, Fairfield. Mrs. ALLENDER is also survived by six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one brother, Luther LARIMORE, Benkelman, Nebraska; and a sister, Mrs. Morris GOODWIN, Glenns Ferry, Idaho.
