Page 2, Column 2MRS. JOHN THURSTON DIED THIS MORNING AT PEORIA, ILLINOIS
Mrs. John C. THURSTON, formerly Miss Christine ELLIOTT of this city, died suddenly this morning in Peoria, Ill. Her death comes as a surprise and shock to her many friends here who were not aware of her illness.
Mrs. B. H. ELLIOTT, Mrs. THURSTON's mother, yesterday received a message stating that her daughter was ill and wished to see her. Mrs. ELLIOTT left last evening and was at her bedside when she passed away. This morning a message called Mr. ELLIOTT to Peoria, but about ten o'clock a second one notified him of Mrs. THURSTON's death at the Proctor hospital in Peoria. He left on Burlington train No. 6 this afternoon.
Christine ELLIOTT was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. H. ELLIOTT. She graduated from the Fairfield High School with the class of 1916. On September 19, 1919, she was united in marriage to John C. THURSTON, and has since made her home in Peoria. She had just passed her 22nd birthday at the time of her death.
Besides her husband and her parents she is survived by a brother, Curtis ELLIOTT, of Glendale, and a sister Dorothy, at home.
No arrangements have been made for the funeral.

Those who had been buried there were removed and reinterred in other locations. Christine and her parents were originally interred in the Abbey, and later moved to Union Cemetery.
