… We are sorry to hear of the death of Mrs. Baldwin PARSONS, in California, where she had been only a short time. She had gone in hope of improving her health. Her husband received a dispatch telling of her condition and took the train the same day to go to see her, but we learn she died about the time he started. This is a sad stroke on the family. …

… At 3 p.m. last Sabbath, Mrs. Balden PARSONS was buried in the Union cemetery south of Parsonsville. Mrs. PARSONS was a kind companion, a loving mother, a good obliging neighbor and a good christian. She will be missed by her many friends but none will miss her as her lonely husband and her children. The sympathy of all goes out to them in this sad hour. …
