Well Known Resident of This County Died Last Night After Short IllnessMrs. William PARSONS, one of the well-known and highly respected residents of this community, passed away last night at 10:10 oclock at her home nine and one-half miles southeast of this city, after only being ill since Wednesday.
The funeral services will await the coming of a son Hayes W. PARSONS, who only recently left for Portland, Ore. He is expected to arrive here Tuesday.
Mrs. PARSONS was formerly Miss Ada Belle FULTON and she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James FULTON and was born Nov. 18, 1867 at Glasgow. Prior to her marriage she efficiently taught in the Jefferson county schools. She was married June 21, 1893 to William PARSONS, who survives here, also the following children: Hayes W. PARSONS of Portland, Ore., Dale PARSONS of Omaha, Neb., Clair PARSONS of Cedar Rapids, John PARSONS, who is attending Parsons college here and Charles who is at home. She also leaves four grandchildren, two of whom she has practically raised, Billy PARSONS Jr., Harry PARSONS and Catherine PARSONS and Jacqueline PARSONS. She is survived by the following brothers and one sister: Robert FULTON of southeast of the city, Chester FULTON of Fairfield, John L. FULTON of Allentown, Pa., Charles FULTON of Meeker, Colo., Harry FULTON of Ottumwa and Mrs. E. L. MORROW of New London. A brother Avelo FULTON passed away a few years ago.

Held Wednesday Morning At 10:30; Burial At the Union CemeteryThe last rites for Mrs. William PARSONS, who passed away Friday night after a short illness, will be held from the family home 9 1-2 miles southeast of the city Wednesday morning at 10:30 oclock. Rev. Orval Walker, a student at Parsons college, will conduct the services. Interment will be made in the Union cemetery near the home.
Hayes PARSONS of Portland, Ore., the son on whom the funeral was delayed, will arrive tomorrow afternoon from the west.
