… Mr. and Mrs. Ed. YOUNG were called to Beckwith this morning to attend the funeral of their cousin, Isaac MAXWELL who died yesterday.

… Isaac MAXWELL died last Saturday at his home near Glendale after a long illness. Funeral services were conducted Monday morning by Rev. W. C. Barton, and interment made in the Union cemetery. …

COUNTY CORRESPONDENCE.

GLENDALE.

… Isaac MAXWELL, whom we have reported as very ill for a number of weeks, died Saturday evening aged fifty-eight years, leaving a wife, two daughters and a son to mourn their great loss. Funeral services were conducted at the church by Rev. James G. Barton of Ottumwa and were attended by a large concourse of relatives and friends. The interment was made in Union cemetery.

Mrs. Almira Steel, Riverside, visited here last week and was present at the MAXWELL funeral.

Mrs. Belle FRAZEY of Kansas, sister of Mr. MAXWELL, was at the funeral, and Mr. and Mrs. Ed. YOUNG and many Fairfield people.
