Page 3, Column 3CHARLES LOTRIDGE.--Died at the home of his parents near Beckwith on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 1888, of cerebro spinal meningetis (sic). Charles H. LOTRIDGE, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles LOTRIDGE, aged twenty-three years, ten months and thirteen days. He was born near Johnston, New York; came to Iowa with his parents in 1877, and stopped at Trenton, Henry county, one year, since which time they have lived on their present farm near Beckwith. Charles was a young man of warm heart and generous impulses, who endeared himself to a large circle of friends. He will be sadly missed. The funeral services were held at Parsonsville church, conducted by Rev. Sampson, of Lockridge, and were very largely attended.
