James "Jimmy" Earnest LITTON, 88, of Fairfield, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (note: in Iowa City, Johnson Co., IA). Visitation for family and friends will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, at Behner Funeral Home. Following the visitation, he will be cremated. Burial will be at a later date in Glasgow Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Glasgow Cemetery Association. Cards and memorials may be mailed to Jack LITTON, 804 S. Fourth St., Fairfield, IA 52556.

Jimmy was born Jan. 3, 1931, in Jefferson County, to James W. and Frances C. (EARNEST) LITTON. Jimmy served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War (sic - Korean Conflict) for four years. He worked for 25 years at Chain & Cable, 11 years at Agri Industrial Plastic and also farmed. Jimmy enjoyed driving looking at the country side, going to actions (sic) and listening to the news.

Jimmy will be missed by his brothers, William (Kay) LITTON of Iowa City, Jack (Maxine) LITTON of Fairfield and Robert LITTON of Iowa City; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Frances; and sister-in-law, Loreta Kay LITTON.
