HICKENBOTTOM rites Saturday

Perry J. HICKENBOTTOM, 69, of Libertyville, died at 10:59 p.m. Tuesday at Jefferson County Hospital.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Connor officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery east of Fairfield. Family visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

HICKENBOTTOM had been a farmer in Jefferson County all his life.

He was born Aug. 14, 1916, the son of Clarence F. and Nettie SCHILLERSTROM HICKENBOTTOM of Jefferson County. He was married to LeNora McCormick Feb. 8, 1947, in Bethesda Methodist Church. HICKENBOTTOM was a member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church, Batavia Lions Club and I.O.O.F. Lodge No. 4.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Carolyn HICKENBOTTOM of Eldon; and two sons, Lloyd and Larry HICKENBOTTOM, Batavia. Also surviving are three grandchildren and one sister, Mary BOYSEL, of Fairfield. HICKENBOTTOM was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Memorials may be made to Libertyville Community Center or Batavia Lions Club.
