DEATH OF P. L. HUYETT. The St. Joseph, Mo., Herald of the 13th inst. contains the following paragraph: “Captain Peter L. Huyett died at his residence, 215 North Sixth Street, of paralysis, Friday morning at 9:30 o’clock, January 12th, 1883, aged 72 years, one month and two days. Captain Huyett was one of the pioneers of St. Joseph, and was a highly esteemed citizen.....The funeral will take place today from the Episcopal church.”

Mr. Huyett was an old citizen of Jefferson County, formerly living on a large farm in Cedar Township. He removed hence to St. Joseph, where he was in business several years. Many old friends here will learn of this death with regret.
