We regret to learn that Daniel Huyett, Esq., of Hagerstown, Maryland, the father of Capt. P. L. Huyett, formerly of this county, lately died at his residence, near Hagerstown. The papers of that city state that the deceased was one of the most prosperous farmers and active business men in that State, extensively known and universally esteemed. He died at the ripe old age of 83, leaving behind him a very large estate.
