Ryan David Huffman, 19, of Cantril, drowned in a Waubonsie Park pond, Sunday, April 10, 2005, in Cantril.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Jerry Caughron officiating. A private burial of cremains will be at a later date in Purdom Cemetery in Keosauqua.

Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Memorials to the family may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at PO Box 212, Cantril 52542.

Mr. Huffman was born May 12, 1985, in Keosauqua, the son of Timothy and Deborah Speer Huffman.

He attended Fox Valley High School and worked in building construction.

Survivors include his parents of Cantril; one brother, Nathan Huffman of Cantril; one sister, Fallon Huffman of Cantril; grandparents, Audrey Huffman of Cantril, and Bob and Carol Speer of Bloomfield.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bill Huffman.
