FATAL ACCIDENT: On Wednesday last, William Case, a lad about 15 years of age, son of Adam Case, met with a fatal accident by the discharge of a shot gun, which he had in his possession. He got into a wagon about three miles west of town, and the gun was handed to him by a small boy, with the muzzle towards him. The dog, or hammer of the gun, caught on the bed of the wagon, and was discharged. The entire load entered the side of his face, and came out at the hind part of his head, carrying away a large portion of flesh and brains. He fell down in the wagon and expired instantly.
