RICHARD (DICK) LEE ULM
Tempe, AZ

Richard Lee ULM, 81 passed away on June 25th, 2019. Richard was born January 22, 1938 to Mr & Mrs. Maynard ULM in Des Moines, IA. He is survived by his siblings Donald ULM and Karla FERREL, his five children , Douglas ULM, Shelly DEUTSCH, Marcus ULM, Danielle ULM, Erica ULM, and his 12 grandchildren and a great grandchild, plus many nieces and nephews.

Dick attended Parsons college with a degree in History. He was in the Army Reserves. From Fairfield, IA he moved to Arizona 50 years ago and firmly considered himself a resident of both states. The majority of his years in Arizona consisted of careers in construction, sales and security.

Dick was a member of the Shrine Association and Elks Lodge, he also was a constant supporter of the Shriners Childrens Hospital. He was an avid Motorcyclist and loved his annual trips to Sturgis. Dick was very passionate about travel, and enjoyed long drives around the country. He also fancied himself a fisherman and enjoyed spending time boating, camping and being in the great outdoors.

There was a Celebration of Life ceremony held Monday July 1st at Sun Valley Community Church in Tempe, AZ.
