Thomas Dare, who lived in this city for eight or ten years following 1849, died at Osceola on Thursday. While here he was engaged in the tinware business, and his store was in the old court house building which stood where Howell’s brick now is. Mr. Dare married Miss Rachel Cummings of this city, and she, with two children, survives him. His age was 77 years.
