Inez Stevens, 95, of 2237 Highway 34, died at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2005, at Parkview Care Center.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Raymond Funeral Home in Birmingham, with the Rev. Jim Wortherspoon officiating. Burial will be in the Spencer Cemetery near Stockport.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the funeral Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Stevens was born July 17, 1909, in Tuttle, Okla., the daughter of James A. and Mary E.A. Murphy McLellan. She married A.J. Stevens May 25, 1929, in Oklahoma City, Okla. He died Aug. 24, 1990.

She had lived in Tuttle and Oklahoma City prior to moving to Stockport.

She was a resident of Stockport for 13 years before moving to Fairfield in 1996.

She was a member of the Dumas Avenue Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.

Survivors include one daughter, A.J. Gibson of Fairfield; one son Gene Stevens of San Antonio, Texas; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Oma Douglas of Oklahoma City; and one brother Earl Wright of Yukon, Okla.
