East Moline, ILRobert E. LEEDY, 75, of East Moline, IL, passed away Monday, March 18, 2019 at his home.
Funeral services wll be 11am, Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Rafferty Funeral Home, 2111-1st St A, Moline with visitation from 9-11am. Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Robert was born July 16, 1943 in Fairfield, IA the son of Roger "Gene" and Mary Louise (STILL) LEEDY. He married Dora "Maxine" SHIPLEY on August 15, 1965 in Keosauqua, IA.
Robert worked at Deere and Co. retiring in 2001 after 38 years as parts pricing manager. He enjoyed working with his hands, especially woodworking and stain glass (sic) and was an avid reader.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine; daughters, Tracey (Steve) EDENS, Waukesha, WI and Abbey (Luke) VanDeWOESTYNE, Elgin, IL; grandchildren, Kirstin and Madison EDENS, Grace and Austin VanDeWOESTYNE; sister and brother in law, Ruth Ann (Bill) WOOD, Kearney, MO and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Connor VanDeWOESTYNE. Condolences may be left at www.RaffertyFunerals.com
