OllieBecky Lynn CONGER, age 44 of Ollie, passed away January 27, 2019 at her home near Ollie. She was born on January 6, 1975, in Iowa, the daughter of David and Bonnie (CARTER) WALKER. She was united in marriage to Sam CONGER on August 19, 2006 at a ceremony held at the Skunk River in Iowa.
Becky worked various jobs and was skilled in many trades. She was in construction work and was a bartender for a time. She also helped break horses and was a caretaker, but most importantly she was a full-time mother in raising her children. She enjoyed photography, working in her flower and vegetable garden, boating, being outdoors, collecting unique rocks and had a love for Native American culture. Her real joy in life was spending time with her family and friends.
Her family includes: her husband, Sam CONGER; her children, Amber CONGER, Brenna CONGER, Celsey CONGER, Whitney ANDERSON, Bonnie BECKER, Clayton CULP, Quincy CONGER and Shelby CONGER; two grandchildren, Samuel SHARP and Marci GARRELS; her father, David WALKER; two sisters, Ruthie WALKER and Tammy GROSS; her father and mothers-in-law, Bob and Colleen CONGER; her sisters-in-law Shawna WALKER and Sasha CONGER and her 2nd father, Dave CRANDALL. She is also survived by many other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie WALKER; a son, David Matthew RUSSELL; a brother in infancy, Clint Edward WALKER; her Grandpa Wimpy; a father-in-law, Ralph CONGER and a cousin, Scott WALKER.
A memorial service will be held Friday, February 1, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at the Prairie View Methodist Church near Ollie with Pastor Mark Hornback officiating. A private family burial of cremated remains will take place at a later date. The Fremont Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will begin Thursday at 5 p.m. in the Prairie View Methodist Church with the family present at the church from 5-8 p.m. Thursday evening to greet friends and relatives. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
