Death of Jessie Monfort
Fairfield Ledger - Dec. 6, 1893

Miss Jessie, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. C. Monfort, died at the home of her parents in this city Monday evening. She had been ill for nearly two years with consumption, and for some time past her recovery had been considered impossible. Miss Monfort was almost eighteen years of age. She was born and grew to womanhood in this county, and was a bright, lovable girl with many warm friends. The remains were interred in the Evergreen cemetery, this city, this morning.
