MRS. MARY MOUNT DIED THIS MORNING, at her home on West Kirkwood Street.....Remains will be taken to Mt. Pleasant for interment. Mary Ellen Magee MOUNT was born in Circleville, Ohio, Apr. 13, 1822, and in 1844 moved to Decatur, Ill., and afterward to Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. She was married in 1844 to Dr. T. E. V. FERRIS and their married life was spent in Mt. Pleasant. Dr. FERRIS died in 1879, leaving his wife and one son, T. E. F. FERRIS Jr. In 1881 Mrs. FERRIS was married to Christopher STRINGER who died within three months. In 1882 the widow and her son came to Fairfield to make their home and in 1884 she became the wife of Jedediah MOUNT whose death occurred about ten years ago.....
