Well Known Photographer Dies After Short Illness Of PneumoniaDr. Clark C. De MARSH, well-known Fairfield photographer and owner of the DeMarsh Studio, located over Easton's drug store, died Saturday at midnight, at the Jefferson county hospital, of pneumonia.
The body was taken to the Campbell Funeral home in this city and no funeral arrangements have yet been made, awaiting arrival of his sister, Mrs. Beulah CRAWFORD, of San Diego, Calif. De MARSH also leaves a cousin, Mrs. Cora DONNER 202 North B street in this city.
Dr. De MARSH was taken to the hospital on Friday, from his home, where he had been suffering with influenza, and complications followed.
Dr. De MARSH was born in Perlee, Iowa, January 17, 1864, and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. De MARSH, who operated a general store in Perlee. He attended Parsons college, and later practice medicine in Ottumwa until his health failed. He had lived in Fairfield about 40 years.
De MARSH had his studio in the updtairs of the Lewis building on North Main street for a number of years, and from there he moved to the Thorne building on the North side of the square, and then to the present location. He had been in poor health for some time.

Dr. Clarke E. DeMARSH, 72, retired physician, and in recent years proprietor of the DeMARSH Photo Studio over the Easton Drug store on North Main street, died suddenly early Sunday morning in his studio after only a few days of failing health.
An only sister, Mrs. Roy HATTON, of Pasadena, Calif., survives, as does a niece, Mrs. Cora DONNER of this city. Funeral arrangements await word from his sister.
