Charlene L. Prosser, 66, of Ottumwa, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Ottumwa. Burial of cremains will be held at a later date in Shaul Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with family present from 5-7 p.m.

Memorials can be made to the family.

Mrs. Prosser was born Dec. 6, 1938, in Ottumwa, the daughter of Gilbert and Margaret Receveur Prosser. She married Bernie King, and then married Ernie Small. He later died. She then married Edwin Manley Nov. 30, 1974.

She was a homemaker and her pastimes included camping, traveling, fishing and needle point.

Survivors include her husband; her mother of Ottumwa; two sons, Ernie King of Ottumwa and Craig Small of Fairfield; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her second husband, she was preceded in death by her father and one son, Michael.
