Mrs. GOZDZIELA Died Wednesday Morning

Mrs. Marion GOZDZIELA died at 4 oclock Wednesday morning at her home southwest of East Pleasant Plain. She had been a sufferer for the last six years of her life but maintained her strength until Monday night when she called her daughter Nettie and told her that she was ready to go and would soon leave them.

Her maiden name was Marion ROGAL and she was born Dec. 31, 1864, being 62 years old at the time of her death. She was married to Thomas GOZDZIELA 34 years ago and nine children were born to their union: Nick who died at the age of three years and Mrs. Morrie SMESSWEST (sic - SMESSAERT) of Fairfield. Helen Peter, and Joe of Chicago and Nettie Tony, Ignus and Andy at home. She is also survived by one grandchild. The husband preceded her in death eight years ago.

Funeral services will be held at 10 oclock Saturday morning at St. Mary's Catholic church. -- Washington Evening Journal.
