EIGHTY-ONE YEARS IN THE CHURCH. (M.E.) Jedediah Mount.....born at Washington, Pennsylvania Apr. 14, 1810.....married there May 7, 1834, to Miss Mary Ruth, who died in this county in 1869. They were the parents of ten children, only four of whom are now living: Mrs. J. T. Hoopes and Mrs. Callie Knight of this city, Mrs. J. Q. Robinson at Mt. Pleasant, and Mrs. Laura Spry of Red Oak. The family came to this county in 1854 and the children grew to maturity here. In 1878 Mr. Mount was married to Mrs. Maggie Green, who died the following year. One child, George H. Mount, who now resides in this city, was the result of this union. In 1883 he was married to Mrs. Mary E. Fariss who survives him.....
