BRIGHTON -- Margaret M. SHELANGOSKI, 72, East Pleasant Plain, died Monday at Jefferson County Hospital after a brief illness.
The Rosary service will be Wednesday, 7 p.m., at Gould Funeral Home in Brighton. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, 2 p.m., St. Joseph's Catholic Church in East Pleasant Plain with the Rev. Louis Leonhardt officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Mrs. SHELANGOSKI was born March 28, 1907 in Jefferson County, the daughter of Joseph and Lucille ZYMSLONY (sic - ZMYSLONY) ROGAL. She married Vince SHELANGOSKI May 18, 1926.
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Laurine TOWNSEND, Blakesburg and Dorothy SHELANGOSKI, Chicago, Ill.; two brothers, Herman ROGAL, rural Brighton and Leonard, Dayton, Ohio; one sister, Amelia WINIKATES, Chicago and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandchild, three sisters and three brothers.
Except for three years when she worked in Chicago, the deceased lived in Jefferson County. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society at St. Joseph's Church and a member of the Polishville Cemetery Association.
