Among Our Neighbors.
...Vincent POHREN, a native of Solmaruhr, Germany, died at his home in Penn township the 5th inst., at the age of eighty-two. He came to America in 1854, and to Lockridge township, this county, a year later. His widow and six children survive him, five of them being well known in this county -- Jacob POHREN, Mrs. Michael FRITZ, Mrs. John FRITZ, Mrs. George HOOK and Mrs. Chris. MINERT (sic - MINEART). Mr. POHREN held a warm place in the hearts of the German people of northeastern Jefferson county....
